There’s a relatively sedate start to the racing week on Monday with just three meetings making up the schedule.
Afternoon jumps action comes from Carlisle (2.00-5.10pm) and that meeting is flanked by a pair of all-weather Flat cards at Lingfield (1.17-4.50) and Wolverhampton (5.00-8.30).
Monday’s nap did well to win on his first start at Lingfield 11 days ago and appears to have plenty going for him as he bids to double up at the Surrey circuit.

Horse racing tips: Lingfield 1.47
Epsom Faithfull chases a hat-trick in this Class 4 handicap over a mile and will have her supporters after successive course wins over 7f and today’s trip. She had more in hand than the margin of half a length suggests in the latter race and is rated just 3lb higher, but this looks a stronger race on paper.
The likes of Riot for David O’Meara and another recent course-and-distance winner, Larado for Mick Appleby, command respect but top-weight McLEAN HOUSE is preferred for Andrew Balding.
The Dream Ahead gelding is progressive and has four wins in just seven career starts, the first three coming over 7f at Kempton. His first visit here came 11 days ago in a slowly run 7f race, when Oisin Murphy got him to motor in the back straight and get his nose in front in head-bobber on the line.
That effort can be upgraded in the circumstances and the slender margin means he has gone up the bare minimum in the ratings, so he and Murphy can be relied upon to finish with another flourish.

SUNSET IN PARIS is taken to make it 2-2 over course and distance in this 1m 2f Class 6 handicap. The gelded son of Camelot won here on his penultimate outing in December, building on some previously promising efforts at Chelmsford.
He returned to the Essex venue in January for a Classified event and underperformed, but allowances can be made as jockey Shane Kelly had to come very wide off the final bend.
Rossa Ryan, who partnered Sunset In Paris in his previous success here, returns in the saddle and if they can reproduce that sort of effort together now, they may be too strong for Forever Proud, who scored over track and trip last time out.

Horse racing tips: Wolverhampton 8.30
There are a few reasons to believe the veteran ASTROPHYSICS can go well in this 6f sprint handicap after he shaped with promise despite missing the break over the same trip at Kempton last time out.
He won back-to-back races over course and distance last season from higher handicap marks and his latest run wasn’t the first time he has caught the eye this winter.
It has also been a long time since he was this low in the handicap and, while this is his 99th career start, he has shown he retains enough ability to still win at this level.
With all five of his career all-weather wins coming at this venue, he should be competitive again and he looks overpriced from an each-way perspective at his early odds.
Selection: Astrophysics @ 8/1 with BetMGM
